In a highly competitive final between Flowrida and New York, Andrea Ustero and Ariana Sanchez captured the women’s division title for the Atlantics, beating the Goats in a three set thriller, 7-6, 3-6, 10-7.
Men’s Division – Final
Miami Padel Club defeats Cancun Waves
Waves – Alex Ruiz and Franco dal Blanco
Agustín Tapia and Eduardo Alonso came from behind to clinch the championship. After losing the first set 1-6, they took the second set 6-3 to take the match to a tiebreak where they again came from 0-3 to win 10-8.

Women’s Division – Third Place
Las Vegas Smash defeat Cancun Waves
Las Vegas’ Marta Ortega and Alejandra Alonso held on to defeat Cancun’s Marina Lobo and Sofia Saiz 6-4, 6-4.
Men’s Division – Third Place
New York Atlantics Defeat Flowrida Goats
Lucas Campagnolo and Jon Sanz of the New York Atlantics topped Pablo Cardona and Leo Augsburger from the Flowrida Goats after rallying from an opening set loss to close out in a third set tiebreak 4-6, 6-3, 10-4.
League Standings:
This past week, 10 teams battled for points to qualify for eight spots in the PPL City’s Cup this October, a single-elimination playoff to determine the champion for each division and an overall champion. Overall team points are the sum of a team’s men’s and women’s points earned.
The New York Atlantics lead the league with 40 points –including 25 points for a first place finish in the Women’s division and 15 points for a third place finish in the Men’s division.
