The North American market plays a crucial role in the global expansion of padel.

The United States is a key focus for the sport as it aims for wider international growth. While padel has seen rapid growth in recent years, there is still untapped potential in the North American market. To help capitalize on this, the International Padel Federation (FIP) and Premier Padel are collaborating to introduce a tournament in the U.S. for the 2025 season.

Arturo Coello is not the only one aware of this potential. As the new season approaches, Coello has announced his move to Miami, marking a fresh chapter in his professional career. The world number one is relocating in pursuit of new opportunities, and the Reserve Padel facilities will serve as his training base when not competing on the circuit.

Coello said : “Miami and Reserve Padel will be my home and base in 2025. I am excited to share this news with all of you. After careful consideration with my team, we’ve decided to move to the United States because we strongly believe in the sport’s growth potential here. This country presents countless opportunities, not only for the sport’s development but also for creating an ideal environment for a professional athlete. Many top athletes have made this their home, as it offers the perfect balance between honing my game and personal growth. We are incredibly happy with this decision and look forward to the experiences ahead,” said the ‘King,’ also expressing his gratitude to Wayne Boich for his trust.
